Dear Team,

The coaching staff would like to wish all of you a HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR. We hope your holidays were outstanding.

I always spend a lot of time over the holidays thinking and reflecting what's important to me and all of the Montclair Dolphins familes are always on that list.

On behalf of the coahing staff I would like to say thanks to all the parents who recognized how hard this staff works over the holidays by baking, sending cards, bringing in gifts or being part of the collective gift. We appreciate it more then anyone could possibly imagine. Your generosity was overwhelming and words can not thank you all enough. We as a staff feel very blessed to be working with such outstanding athletes and families.

Sincerely,

Jon Siegel and the Montclair YMCA Dolphins Staff!

1. If you made hotel reservations for Charlotte and are not attending please cancel the reservation ASAP so those rooms can be freed up for the late qualifiers.

2. Charlotte entry has been processed and wil be posted once acknowledgement is recieved from the host team - at that point, if you are entered in more then 6 events, you will need to take a look at the psyche sheets when posted and scratch down. Dates to be determined.

3. Over the next two months you will be hearing a lot about the "Strong Kids Campaign." This is an annual fund at the Y which provides opportunities for kids to be a part of the Y when they otherwise could not afford to do so. The Dolphins Swim Team needs to be involved with this on a very high level as many of our kids who are team members would not be were it not for this campaign. Currently I are looking for 4 parent volunteer captians to lead teams of 5 coordinators to help spread the word of this campaign. If you are interested in this, please e-mail Jon

We are well on our way to making this year's goal of $15,000, but we can't do it without everyone's help.  We will happily take a donation even if you were unable to participate during the actual swim-a-thon.  Best of all, it's not too late to qualify for prizes!  Doesn't everyone need a YMCA Dolphins blanket?

Please collect those pledges and get them in.  Checks should be made out to the Montclair YMCA and can be given to Jon Siegel or mailed to Molly Severson at the following address:
